USAGE

General recommendations based upon natural exposure tests. Specific applications have to be discussed.

1. PP tapes
Exposure: 45° South Florida
Failure criterion: KLy to 50% tensile strength retention
Samples: PP tapes of 50 micron containing UV uvr3
KLy to 50% tensile strength retention

2. PP thick sections

Exposure: 45° South Florida
Failure criterion: KLy to 50% retained impact strength
Samples: PP blockcopolymer parts of 2 mm thickness

Because of so many factors influencing the overall UV stability, it is important to know that our recommendations are based upon evaluations under IDEAL TESTING CONDITIONS, and can only be used as a guideline!

PACKAGING AND STORAGE
UV UVR3 is packed in 25 kg polyethylene bags on shrink-wrapped pallets. The storage time should not exceed 12 months for optimum performance.
